With PHULER, my approach was to create a "digital design studio" that elevates flowers to the level of interior decor and personal wellness. The goal was to architect a platform centered on a subscription model, building a recurring revenue stream and transforming the customer relationship from transactional to ritualistic.

The vision for PHULER was to build a minimalist, editorial platform that feels more like a high-end design journal than a flower shop. Leveraging Shopify's powerful subscription APIs and a custom, visually-driven theme, we crafted an experience that showcases floral arrangements as living sculptures, creating a brand that is both aspirational and deeply integrated into the customer's lifestyle.
Identifying Unique Challenges
The primary challenge in the floral industry is its event-driven, low-frequency purchase cycle. The platform needed to shift customer behavior towards regular, non-occasion-based purchasing. The secondary challenge was to convey the unique, architectural quality of the arrangements through a screen, differentiating the brand from mass-market competitors.

The PHULER platform resolves these issues by architecting a subscription-first user journey. We engineered a flexible subscription portal that allows users to customize their delivery frequency and arrangement style. High-fidelity, editorial-style photography and "Shop the Look" features present the flowers within stunning modern interiors, selling an entire aesthetic, not just a product.
